New spoilers for "The Vampire Diaries" season seven hinted that there could be a love triangle between Bonnie Bennett, Damon Salvatore and Enzo St. John.

SpoilerTV reported that the CW recently released the official synopsis for episode 20, which is titled "Kill Them All."
The synopsis revealed that Enzo and Damon are going to team up in order to find a cure for Bonnie before her conditions worsens.
After Damon's plan takes an unexpected turn, he is going to make a fateful decision that will change his relationship with the young witch for good.
"The Vampire Diaries" star Michael Malarkey recently sat down with Collider to discuss what is in store for Enzo in "Kill Them All."
Malarkey hinted that episode 20 is going to be very intense and is going to end with a shocking twist that will leave viewers speechless.
"You have no idea how crazy it is going to get," he said. "It's of Shakespearean proportions. Enzo is poisoning the love of his life without his own knowledge of it. That's huge! What a terrible thing to happen to two people who have just finally found something, after years of not having anything. But that makes all of the scenes very high stakes and very intense. There's a crazy twist coming up that you will see very soon.
"The Vampire Diaries" star also hinted that there could be a love triangle brewing between Bonnie, Enzo and Damon.
"There are a lot of good one-liners and looks between those three," Malarkey explained. "It's a very complex thing going on with the three of them. You have Bonnie's history with Damon as well as her romantic history with Enzo. Plus, there's Damon's past history with Enzo too. You've got this whole three-pronged mess going on. It makes for some great drama and some really, really tasty scenes coming up between the three of us."
It is possible that Damon's decision in episode 20 involves the realization that he has fallen in love with Bonnie, which could kick off a new love triangle on the show.
Aside from Enzo possibly having some competition for Bonnie's affection, Malarkey added that he thinks Enzo would go on a downward spiral and turn his humanity off if Bonnie dies at the end of episode 20.
"Losing Bonnie would affect Enzo deeply," the actor said. "He's finally found something genuine and I feel like if she were to die, he would probably spiral uncontrollably. Maybe he would even switch off his humanity too."
"The Vampire Diaries" season seven will return on Friday, April 29, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
